DMCA Policy

SIREN respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond to claims of copyright infringement committed using our Service.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content on SIREN infringes your copyright, please submit a notification containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on our Service
  4. Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice

Response Process

Repeat Infringers

SIREN will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We determine repeat infringer status at our sole discretion.

False Claims

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
